Femi Sanu is the Chief Commercial Officer at GVE Projects Limited, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives within the renewable energy and energy access sector.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Femi has built an extensive career across the oil & gas, power and energy, telematics, IoT, fleet management, and fuel management technology industries. He is known for driving commercial growth, operational excellence, market expansion, and strategic business transformation across diverse sectors in Africa.

Before joining GVE Projects Limited, Femi served as the Chief Business Development Officer at OMNICOMM, a global leader in fuel monitoring and telematics solutions, where he led business development and regional commercial operations across multiple African markets. In this role, he worked extensively on enterprise solutions involving fuel management systems, fleet optimization, IoT-enabled monitoring technologies, and strategic partnerships aimed at improving operational efficiency for clients across several industries.

Prior to OMNICOMM, he held senior leadership positions including General Manager, Sales and Operations at Ama-Zuma Oil & Gas Limited, where he oversaw commercial and operational activities within the downstream petroleum sector, driving retail growth, operational performance, and business expansion. He also served as General Manager at Total African Distribution Limited, contributing to the company’s business development and operational management efforts.

Femi holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Physics Telecommunication from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Business from Nexford University, USA, and an MBA in Finance and Investment from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

As Chief Commercial Officer at GVE Projects Limited, he is focused on accelerating sustainable energy adoption, strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding market opportunities, and delivering impactful energy solutions that support economic development and energy inclusion across Africa.
