Daniel Wilbert is the Chief Financial Officer and on the management team for GVE Projects Limited. In this capacity as CFO, he is a key part of the management team driving the strategy and business direction of the organization as a business partner, while directly overseeing both the Corporate Finance as well as Managerial Finance/ Accounting structure of GVE with a clear focus on maximizing shareholder value as well as ensuring integrity of the company’s finances. 

Prior to joining GVE, Mr. Wilbert brings to the table a wealth of expertise garnered from over 17 years work experience working in the Banking as well as Oil & Gas energy sectors of the economy. He spent the last 16 Years with the Schlumberger Group from 2004 where he served a succession of financial and operational management positions in a series of assignments & international job postings covering the Middle-East, Asia & Sub-Sahara Africa; The most recent role was as Controller & finance honcho for Onesubsea Offshore Services, a division under the Schlumberger group for Sub-Sahara Africa between 2017 till 2020.    

Prior to that he had close to 2 Years in Banking with Bond Bank (now part of Skye Bank) in the Internal Audit team at the Banks Headquarters in Lagos & then transferred as part of the Business Development team which set up the first Branch in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Mr. Wilbert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Benin with other management & leadership trainings and certifications in his kitty. 

He is a recognized professional accountant as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Member, Board of Trustees of The Itsekiri Trust Fund amongst other social & professional engagements. He is happily married with children.
